Born November 22, 1993, Jake Wood is an English programmer, writer and surfer based in San Diego, California. He is a Solutions Engineer at Couchbase, working with enterprises to run their applications on Couchbase's operational data platform for AI. Jake began his career as a corporate lawyer, training in the English legal system at Ernst & Young and left to join a client, a startup called Flux Systems on a mission to liberate the world's receipt data, breaking into tech in 2019. He lives with his fiancée Lexi and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pippa, and enjoys spending time outside together all year round.
